I have just finished my first 60 days of the Insanity Workout and I am starting my next round. Shaun Ts Insanity is the closest thing to being in a jet. It skyrockets your heart rate in the warm up than you stretch than your heart is launched into the atmosphere again. The first month introduces you to a series of cardio workouts that incorporates lungs arms legs shoulders and core. Everything is interval. Which means you reach a peak heart rate than rest. Briefly. Than hit it again. When they say you are in a river of your own sweat. Its no lie.
Than comes rest week which you would think is a little easier than regular workouts! Not by much. Rest week workouts consist of more flexibility as well as working cardio and core. Core is really stressed in all workouts. Shaun T considers core very important as do I. During the rest week you will do workouts where your entire body will get work and you will get a good burn.
Than comes month two! Most workouts are an hour! Wow. I couldn't believe the intensity. That river of sweat turns into an ocean ! Workouts in month two are a series of moves done in month one but masterfully put together. The intensity is so high, most of cast has to take breaks! The core or abs portion is a stroke of genius! No crunches. Doing cardio abs will hit core muscles you never thought you had! Overall I give the Insanity Workout an AAA+ It is not for the faint of heart or someone that is just starting. Insanity is very high impact and very challenging not only for the body but for the mind as well!

Insanity Workout Review
I got a sample Insanity DVD called “Plyometric Cardio Circuit” that came with another monthly Beachbody order that I subscribe to– One-on-one with Tony Horton. I received it last week. After I viewed it, that is when I went searching to buy it and saw your web site and signed up. I’ve done the work out 3x already. This particular Insanity work out is 42 minutes of circuit training, and it is high speed – the fasted I’ve ever done in my life (12 minute intense circuit warm up, 7 minute stretch, then 20 minutes of 2 more circuit series, then 3 minute cool down. Each circuit was repeated 3x, and each set in the circuit series gets progressively faster and more intense, and the last set of each circuit there would be extra exercises. It’s as if it’s for professional athletes in training! He does ski moves, football drills, basketball drills, jacks, “suicide drills”, jogging, but kicks, mountain climbers, high knees, ski-abs (killer!), and more. It is so radical. I’m really excited to get the entire DVD set, including the upgrade. I like the fact that no equipment is required.

Hey I work here at Extreme Home and I finally had the chance to start the Insanity Workout. Here is my Insanity Workout Review So far. CRAZY! This workout is awesome. I love the fact that Shaun T uses no weights or resistance bands. Both Chalean and P90X use weights and resistance bands, but I feel just as much burn (if not more) with the Insanity Workout. From the very first DVD you put in it is a high level workout. I can see how Shaun T uses the Insanity Workout techniques to train professional athletes. I know I compared Insanity with P90X and Chalean, but I would advise you to not expect the same exact workout. It is totally different, which makes it that much better. If I'm being honest I wasn't the biggest fan of Hip Hop Abs, but Shaun T has quickly moved up as one of my favorite personal trainers with the Insanity Workout. If I had to pick a favorite of the home workouts I've done I would have say... Get Insanity Workout!
